Integrating techniques for balance & relief

With over 30 years of clinical experience, I use a range of proven techniques to help you restore movement, ease tension, and find lasting relief. Each treatment is carefully tailored to your body’s unique needs—whether you’re recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or simply wanting to feel your best.

Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is a hands-on approach to assessing, treating, and improving how your body moves and functions. Its aim is to reduce pain, improve circulation, and restore balance in the muscles, joints, and connective tissues.

By relieving areas of restriction and encouraging the body’s natural healing response, manual therapy helps you move more freely, recover faster, and feel lighter and more aligned in your everyday life.

The following techniques are what I draw on as a
manual therapist and remedial massage therapist to achieve those goals—combining science, skill, and intuition to deliver lasting results and genuine care.

Myofascial Release

Your body’s fascia—its network of connective tissue—can become tight and restrictive due to stress or injury, causing pain, stiffness, and poor mobility. Myofascial release gently frees these restrictions, improving flexibility, alignment, and circulation. You’ll feel more open, balanced, and at ease in your body.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

A gentle, rhythmic technique that stimulates your body’s natural detox system. This treatment supports immune health, reduces swelling and inflammation, and relieves fatigue or that “heavy” feeling. You’ll leave feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply restored from within.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger points are small, tense areas within muscles that can refer pain to other parts of your body—often the hidden cause of headaches, neck pain, or back tension. Through precise pressure and release, this therapy reduces pain, improves mobility, and restores harmony between your muscles and nervous system.

Dry Needling

A targeted technique using fine, sterile needles to release deep muscle tension and deactivate long-standing trigger points. Dry needling can provide fast and lasting relief from headaches, back pain, sciatica, and muscle tightness—helping your body reset and function freely again.

Joint Mobility (MET)

A gentle but effective method that uses your own muscle contractions to realign joints and lengthen tight muscles. MET restores balance, increases flexibility, and relieves stiffness in the spine, neck, and joints, leaving you with greater mobility and ease of movement.

Sports Massage

Designed for active individuals and athletes, sports massage improves circulation, releases tight muscle fibres, and enhances recovery before or after exercise. It helps prevent injury, reduce soreness, and restore energy—so you can perform at your best and bounce back faster.

Private Health Insurance

You may be able to claim your treatment through your private health fund, depending on your level of cover and Extras policy. Please check with your provider before your appointment.

Rate

Each 60 minute session is $155(inc GST) and is customised to your individual needs, combining the most effective techniques to help you move better, feel better, and live fully.
